Overview:
Hyper Dash will challenge you to be your best. It takes no time at all to learn, but selectable skill levels and four completely different game modes mean the challenge, like a real sport, will last a lifetime.
Hyper Dash consists of one electronic tagger and five different colored and numbered targets. The tagger plays pre-recorded music and calls out which targets you need to strike. It tracks the amount of time taken to complete each course. The tagger uses radio frequency identification (RFID) to recognize the targets, which can be set up side-by-side, or spread out across the length of a football field. There's no limit to the distance between targets. Farther targets result in more running and exercise. Hyper Dash can be played indoors or outdoors; solo, in pairs, or in teams. Parents vs. Kids is an entertaining option. Cooperative siblings can work together to beat their best time, while more competitive kids prefer the head-to-head mode. As your speed, skill and agility improve, the series of commands becomes longer and more challenging. Level one calls out the colors you need to tag, level two includes numbers, level three adds special commands (Double Strike, Triple Strike, Reverse, Double Reverse) and level four features Compu-Strike (addition/subtraction problems in which you tag the sum or difference of the numbers called out). Other play modes include the memory game of Micro Dash and multi-player relay races that promote teamwork. For a game of Hide 'n Dash, let your opponent hide the targets before you begin. Every game has encouraging cheers and upbeat music to keep kids on their feet, expending energy and having fun.

This is a great product. As a parent, I am always looking for games/toys that are entertaining as well as active. Also you can have many players which makes it great for a family or if a kid has some friends over to play. Please, make more games like this !!!!!

I bought this product for my 3 year old son, hoping he would get out some energy this winter when we are stuck indoors. And I was right!! Even at his young age, he was able to play Level 1 Hyper Dash and really enjoyed trying to beat his best time. My husband and I also had a ball playing the MIcro Dash setting, it's like an updated Simon Says. This will keep us busy for years to come.

My son received this game as a gift for his birthday. The format of the game encourages social interaction and exercise in a fun way. It is simple enough that children of different ages can play it together competitively. Another benefit is that players must quickly process oral instructions and respond to them.

Boys are very competitive, so this is perfect for them. They get lots of cardiovascular exercise. We us it inside and outside. When it's warmer out I space the pieces further apart then they would have so they get even more exercise.

Our family loves this toy. The set-up was easy and then we just practiced the games at all the different levels. It was fun and challenging even for the adults. I think this is a great toy to get kids and adults up and moving, whether it be indoors or out. Even if we are playing at the easiest level for my son, he loves the energy and his enthusiasm shows. When my husband and I played...our brains were challenged quite a bit for the memory sequences. It travels easy as well. We took it on vacation with us and played inside when it was raining. It takes up barely any room in the suitcases. Worth the money.

I first saw this product in a magazine and it looked interesting. When I saw the reasonable price I got on the internet to research further. After watching the video clip, I realized that my kids would absolutely love it. When we received the product, we broke it out right away and have not put it down yet. It is so much fun and very fitness oriented. We have such a great time as a family playing this game that I have decided to purchase another one for even more fun. Both of our boys, ages 5 and 8 enjoyed this game. It is a great indoor active game in the winter when snowed in and exercise is needed! My husband and I enjoyed it also, and were definitely sweating! My 8 year old liked getting a lot of exercise. My 5 year old liked running. And both my husband and I enjoyed a family game that got us all moving.

I am a pediatric physical therapist and work in a school district. This product is great for getting the kids to move! I use it as a reward when they have gotten their "work" done. They don't even realize that they are still working. I place the targets on different surfaces so that they have to reach, bend down, or climb onto things to strike them. HyperDash encourages sustained movement, starting/stopping/turning without losing balance, and listening skills, as well as enforces color and number recognition. My only wish is that you could adjust the sound, because it is sometimes difficult to hear. Also, it is not always sensitive to the double and triple strikes and the kids have to keep hitting the target. Thank you for making such a great product!!

This is a great toy for indoors on rainy days, and outside to keep the kids active. It has four games, each can be played by one to four players. My son can keep himself busy while I'm cooking dinner. We also play it together to blow off steam. It has one game that's reminiscent of Simon--I love the nostalgia! It's like being a kid again.
This is the coolest game! I have my kids play it before betime and it wears them out just right! The whole family loves to play this!

My son and daughter enjoy competing against each other and don't even notice the exercise! The amount of exercise can easily be adjusted by expanding or decreasing the range between discs. This game includes everyone regaurdless of skill sets. You can strive for personal improvement.

It was a cold day outside and my kids needed to let off some steam so we opened the Hyper-Dash game that we got for Xmas. After hours of fun everyone, including the adults, were sweating at the end and getting very competitive. Even my 5 years old boy who never likes anything for more than 15 mins loved it. The toy is not only fun but great for kids to get exercises in-doors on rainy or cold days. I liked that the kids had to really listen to the instruction especially the math questions.
This toy should be winning awards. If only more toy manufacturers could be more like Wild Planet. By the way I have never written a comment about a toy before but I just had to thank Wild Planet for designing such a wonderful product - Thank you

What a cool game not only for kids, but also for adults. You will have unending hours of fun with this. Originally bought for an 8 year boy, all family members soon joined in. Promotes math skills and agility. You can't go wrong this this at any age!

We bought this for our ten-year-old daughter, but her 13-year-old older sister seems to like it as much, if not better. They have played it outside and inside. My older daughter likes the competitive nature of the game. My younger one usually plays against herself, so as to compete only against herself.
I was hoping to encourage more physical activity with this game, but you can play it without having to run around at all. The kids who think it's fun to run around spread the targets out farther. Those who don't like to move as much place them closer together. . . .

Gee whiz, I wish I had opened the box sooner over the Christmas holidays. My 6 year old son was bouncing off the walls and I was ready for school to start! Hyper dash was very easy to use and immediately engaging. He was happily occupied for some time. The next game we played together all the while laughing as we dashed about our small townhouse. We plan to take it to our next Tiger Cub meeting as a fun activity for those lively boys.

Easy to use and understand for children and adults. This would be a good game for Elderly, handycap. In a Gym it would be good for wheelchair persons.

Purchased as a Christmas Gift I had my doubts about this game. However, much to my surprise I found my grandchildren and myself playing for hours. They were able to run from spot to spot in a desired path that I set. Since it was winter they were not able to get adequate exercise and this game really gave it to them. Wonderful.

It's a nice change to see kids up running around instead of sitting in front of the t.v. with a controller in their hands! It's a lot of fun for kids & adults. The price was reasonable too.

This game is great! Everyone in the family loved this one. It is perfect for physical recreation indoors, but I can't wait for Spring to try it outdoors (we have about 18" of snow on the ground now). A brilliant use of RFID.

This product is great. Both my 8 yr old and 6 yr old love it. It's great for either single or multi-player use, so no squabbles. For even younger players, you can use it to teach colors and numbers 1-5 by placing the targets side by side. For older players, you can make the game ridiculously fun by spreading the targets out all over the house or yard.
My husband and I laughed hysterically at how the kids raced (screaming the whole time) to all the targets. My husband so enjoyed the fun that he joined in himself, yelling and waving his arms as he raced to the targets, egged on by the kids.
Hyper Dash would be an excellent gift for any child or family, but I think it would be even more ideal for overweight children since it makes running fun.
The only thing I'd do to make the toy better is make the green target a deeper green--I think it's too similar to the yellow target.
But even that being the case, I highly recommend it!

I gave Hyper Dash to my 3 1/2 year old grandson who is pretty sharp intellectually but not very coordinated. He tried it out by himself indoors on the easiest level and had a fun time. I like the fact that the game is so versatile and will still be appropriate (and fun) as he gets older. It's good exercise for the body and the mind and provides an opportunity for kids and parents to play together.

My 4 year old son is excited about matching the colors as fast as he can. My 6 year old is excited about expanding his math! They get the game out themselves and love running all over the house (in a controlled manner) while searching for the next disk!

My three children ages 2, 10, and 12 loved this game! My husband even got involved! I was impressed that there was some addition and subtraction with the upper levels. I wish there was even more of that and multiplication, too. Level one was easy enough for my 2 year old and yet still engaging for my husband! Great game! Would purchase again as a gift.

We love playing this as a family. Fun, good excercise, great for this winter, look forward to playing outside come summer. Will be our new birthday present to good friends, family gift. I wish the price was a little lower, more like [$]so we could give for every birthday party though. Be careful how hold as we have had a pinched finger when tagging colors.

I was worried that my niece (5 yrs old) & nephew (3 yrs old) were too young to play with it. There are 2 games possible: Hyper Dash and Micro Dash. Micro Dash requires more cognitive development as you have to remember the right sequence of colors/numbers to tag. The 3-yr-old did not understand the concept, and the 5-yr-old was competent, but got a little frustrated. Hyper Dash is easier as all you have to do is run to tag one color/number at a time. Both kids were good at this. Also, the adults would watch the kids and get sucked into wanting to test their skill, too. One drawback: the color/number disks are small and impossible to see if you spread them over a large playing field. Better in the back yard or the play room.

I bought Hyper Dash for all of my neices and nephews, as well as my own son, for X-mas. The ages range from 3years to 11years. All of them love it!!! The 3year old gets practice with his colors and numbers by having them lined up in front of him. Siblings are able to play together and singletons have a great time by themselves. The adults also enjoy it! Hide & seek is a blast, too. It is wonderful that this is a game with movement. Highly recommended for children of all ages.

It keeps the kids entertained and active when it's not nice outside. Inside, you need some room without hazardous obstacles, though. Outside is no problem. Great game and the kids love it!

This was a Christmas gift for my 6-yr old son but his 7-yr old sister and 3-yr old brother also had a blast with it (and they all loved laughing at Mom & Dad running around with it!). It gets the kids moving and is a lot of fun. We've only had it a few days but so far it seems pretty durable. The voice that calls out the colors is easy to understand even when you're running around. There are only 3 buttons and my 6-yr old can successfully operate it to select which game he wants, how many players, and what level of play. My kids love to put it on the 3-player setting and compete to see which of them can get the fastest time. Overall, user-friendly; has a nice variety of one-player or multi-player games without being overly complicated to use; great for winter indoor recreation so far and I imagine we'll use it outside in the warm weather as well. The only reason I didn't give it 5 stars is because we haven't had it long enough to know how well it's going to hold up, but it seems pretty well made.

I have 4 kids between the ages of 3 and 8 and they love playing the game. I have found it very educational as well with color and number recognition and basic math. It has been a good way to get them away from TV and sedentary games. My husband & I love it too, and it gets my heart pumping.

Bought this for my 8yr. old son and he LOVES it! His 12 yr. old sister enjoys creating obstacle courses for them to do with the Hyper Dash. It gets them up and running around, hones co-ordination skills, and memory.

Got this game for my 9 year old grandson as a Christmas present. I decided to try it out first before I wrapped it, you guessed it , I could'nt put it down. It was so much fun just playing it by myself. I naturally had him open it first so we all could play with it as a team. Very intertaining, educational, and most of all fun.
