How to Play:
1) Fizz - Fill playset with warm water and drop the magic shell into it to instantly fizz and dissolve.
2) Find - Fizzing reveals hidden mermaid parts!
3) Play - Put the parts together to make your own mermaid to play with.
There are 12 mermaids to connect and collect. Additional magic shells sold separately. No batteries required.

This has become our all-time favorite toy, my daughter who is 5 looooooves the mermaids and fairies, we collect them and try to get them all. The fizz part is fun and it is quite a show! The she will play for a long time dipping the mermaids from cold to hot water with the playset.Of course the mermaids are friends with the fairies and it is a big party. My son who is 3 loves the dinosaurs and dragons, they are fun to assemble and collect as well, he knows all the dinosaur names.
We have given these out as party favors for a dino party, and twice as a b-day gift for friends (mermaid sets) and these are the responses from the parents - "where did you find these?!" "how do i get more?" and "It was her favorite gift".

this is a fun thing for the kids. they like watching all the foaming up and then the surprise that they get when its done. i recommend this toy for all kids.

My daughter LOVES these mermaids!! She gets so excited to drop the "mermaid egg" in the water! I think we bought out all the store had here locally, so I had to order online! THAT is how much she loves them! She liked them so much I got the little mermaid pool! Way cool!

My daughter is always really excited about this product. She loves the surprise element! It is a bit disappointing that you should not disolve the shell in the bathtub. However, this is a simple toy and one that my daughter has loved ever since she received.

This was a cute toy for my little mermaid lover (she's three). She loved the fizzy tablet and was really surprised when a mermaid emerged. The mermaid doll is very cute and small (great for the tub too). Unfortunately all three mermaids have gone missing - they're really quite small.
I probably shouldn't have gotten the set which comes with a plastic pool. It's not played with at all. The slide falls off which frustrates my 3-year-old. It's one of those bulky plastic toys that aren't easy to store. The mermaids alone are great though. I may buy more of them - they make great stocking stuffers and make interesting unique gifts.

The product is interesting to watch fizz up and exciting for the kids to see what it looks like when its all done. It doesn't make a big mess either.

My 5-year-old daughter loved the Mermaid Surprise! She got three different mermaids and loved filling up the 'tub' after each came out of its shell to play. The only issue I had was that the instructions said the mermaid tail changes colors w/cold water but I had to use warm water to see a color change.
