About Skeleflex:
Skeleflex is a creative ball-and-socket building system that puts kids in control. Its interchangeable bone-shaped pieces can be combined to make aliens, dinosaurs and other fantastical creatures that move in a lifelike manner.
Rigid parts rotate at the point of connection and motion is enhanced by inserting bendable joints between bones. Form the skeletal framework then add small, flexible connectors to give heads, limbs, tails and torsos realistic movement.
Build predators with dropping jaws and flapping wings, or assemble aliens with wavering tentacles and swaying spines. Kids can make exact replicas of the creatures in their Skeleflex idea books, or they can design their own unique models. Construct a multi-headed, moving martian-asaurus, or follow step-by-step instructions for a more recognizable masterpiece.
Skeleflex sets come in bone or skull-shaped carrying cases and contain enough parts to assemble the alien or dinosaur depicted on its package. Dinosaur collections are based on exaggerated versions of prehistoric reptiles, but kids have the option of putting Triceratops horns on a Velociraptor's head if that's what makes them happy. All parts are compatible, even between dinosaur and alien species. Idea books contain tips for building grandiose creations by adding on and combining parts from different sets. No matter how tame or outrageous the vision is, it can be built and brought to life.

My 6 year old loved his velociraptor! He played with him everyday and took him everywhere. Amazingly it has survived a year of dino battles, bath tub wars, vacations and hundreds of trips to the market. Not sure how but a younger child broke him...needless to say I was happy to replace him with 3 others and we are anxiously waiting for more velociraptors!
These toys move like no other toy, they are incredible!! It allows the kids to really use their imagination. Also a fun and easy to build toy. And as mentioned VERY durable. The joints will eventually get a little loose but that didn't affect the play time he got.
I do wish they had more dinosaurs. However, I purchased Alkafly and this guy has to be one of the coolest skeleflex. He moves like they all do but he also has wings that flap(we shouldn't have been surprised)! Maybe next they will make a Pteranadon?!
We gift these toys to everyone and they are always a huge hit!!

Received in record time..."Snap" pulled himself together and was wagging his tail for treats in, well, a snap! My son has thoroughly enjoyed all his Skeleflex "pets" and is saving up for the Dino Lab (T-Rex is a favorite in our house). The only complaint is that there aren't enough dinos...bring on the brachiosaurs and pterodactyls! Great toy for kids who like to build.

I love this toy because it is super posable. I'm not fond of toys that limit your imagination because of limited movement. With this toy, you can put it in any pose you like. Plus you can create your own dinos by using bones from other sets.
The only bad thing I can think of is the joints can eventually become loose. But all you have to do is put a really thin layer of superglue on the ball portion of the loose joint, let it dry, then put it back. Should be as good as new.
Bottom line... this is my new favorite toy. :)
