I bought this for my 55 year-old mother so that she could look out the window at night and see the deer that come up and tip her bird feeders to eat out of them. She enjoys watching them and wanted to be able to do so with out scaring them off with a flashlight or the outside light.
It is a wonderful alternative to the ones that are specically made for adults and cost hundreds of dollars, not to mention setting off red flags with the government for purchasing spy equipment when all you want to do is enjoy the nocturnal nightlife in your own front yard.
I can see 50 ft in the dark I got my first one in 2006 & it still works
Not very good. They don't help to you see in the dark. But you can see far away when it is light outside. I wouldn't really recommend this because you can just get regular binoculars.

My child has had the best time using this product. I also recommend that you wipe it down with a baby wipe. This toy is really easy to use and it will keep your children entertained.
