My 6 year old son loves his new spy kit. He especially likes the motion sensor and remote "ear" to listen in on conversations with his older brother.

My 8 year old niece loves this toy. She had wanted the spy car originally but I thought the spy kit offered more options for fun and I was definitely right. She loves to spy on her sisters when they're playing with their friends. Her sisters, though, I'm not so sure are as happy!

I understand why it needs batteries, and that's fine, but the volume of batteries just seems like a lot. Unless I have missed something, it doesn't appear that the sonic listening device (the globe-shaped thing) turns off and just runs until the battery goes out. I can't find a way to turn it off when it's not in use. Other than that, all is great and my son loves every piece of this product.

my 7 year old loves using these gadgets. You ca really hear with the room bug and binoculars work great too. some of the gadgets he is not sure what they are used for, but he does what he wants and has fun.

The xp6 watch is confusing. Time zones don't include US central time! or at least I can not figure it out. Seems like Nw York time is the default.
Also buttons don't make sense : to set time, you have to push MODE (not SET) ??

Works as advertised except that the pen does not record sound. You can see this by just reading the instructions that are posted here on the web site. In general, it usually helps to read product instructions before buying anything to get a better idea how it will work for you. Things are likely to break easily as they are cheaply made. 9 year old was left in tears trying to get out difficult screw to put in batteries. It worked out. The kids love this stuff for some reason.
Also, please note that only adults should change batteries.
