My Daughter loves it

This was the first toy from WPT my daughter got. She's still got it, and it still works. I changed the button batteries 'cause she used it so much she wore them out. One note; You really can not wear this with mic on earpiece, it will produce feedback, (squeal) but otherwise, it works pretty well. I thought that the wire would break before the batteries ever gave out, which is typical for these kinds of toys, it gets dropped and pulled on. It still works fine.
It isn't really loud, and I suspect on purpose, so as not to get sued for hearing damage. Before getting the video tank, my daughter used this as a way of leveling the playing field with her two older sisters. Now, she has an even better way, but not a less obvious way! Sort of resembles a 'bluetooth' headset for a cell phone. Might pass as one. Give to your kids only if A: You never cuss and B: You never talk in your sleep and C: Never discuss anything really not for kids to hear, and finally, D: Never, ever, if you talk about their NEXT present!
Also, make sure they know what is, and is NOT OK about spying on people. There are laws, and they could get into trouble, although not too likely. Just beware of what the law IS in your area concerning surveillance, since these 'toys' actually work, and are not just simulated.
