How to Play:
1) Fizz - Place shell in Pool Playset (sold separately) or in a cup with warm water. Drop shell in water to instantly fizz and dissolve.
2) Find - Fizzing reveals a pretty mermaid!
3) Play - The mermaid's tail changes colors when dipped in cold water!
There are 12 different mermaids to collect. Fizz 'n Frolic Pool Playset sold separately. No batteries required.
NOTE: The mermaid in each shell is random -- we have no idea which one is inside (it works just like collecting baseball cards).

CAUTION: Parental supervision recommended. Not for bathtub use. For external use only. Do not eat. Do not use near eyes or mouth or with sensitive or broken skin. Discontinue if irritation occurs. If fizz material gets in the eyes, wash immediately with plenty of clear water. Before assembly, wipe plastic parts dry. Dispose of dissolved solution after use. Use on a suitable surface to avoid staining furniture. Ingredients: Citric Acid, Sodium Carbonate, Propylene Glycol, Sodium Lauryl Sulfate, Color Dye: FD&C No 5, FD&C No 40.

My grand daughter loves her mermaid and wants to collect all of them and the pool playset. I had hoped to get all the ones she doesn't have as a Christmas gift but find I cannot rely on not getting the same one over and over again. Any suggestions?

i love these toys!!!!!! though there is a chance of duplicates. but i only have two for now, Adora and Calla. i've always been interested in mermaids and i always liked surprising things (like my meebas). there are different colors of wrappers on the the magic sea shells but that doesn't mean your going to get a certain mermaid. their tails change colors when you dip them in cold water. put it in warm water to change back. My point is that this toy is GREAT for any mermaid lover:)

Ilove this product. my mom and dad and grandparents let me get this because I think mermaids are cool and i like surprising things. when i first got it i loved the exciment and wondering which one i will get. these were the ones i would like to get, fiona, adora, calla, mirabel, stella or shelly. when i fizzed my magic shell i was waay to excited, I knew sense i had a vairity of favorotes i had to get one of them anyway i got Adora, i play with her all the time my piont is these are too awesome.THEY ARE LIKE THE BEST. Surprising (in a good way) fun cool and entertaining. these would make a great gift :)

Really does what it says it does. Fizzes up really nice. The kids had a blast watching it and wondering which mermaid they were going to get!

This toy is COOL! Wild Planet has the best toys to the best! All you do is just put it in Warm water and it FRIZZ. And then you discover a cute, beutiful, mermaid. And you can dip it in Cold water and it change its color on its tail. This toy is cool I would recommend this to my family and friends.

I like this toy because it doesn't take up too much space and it has the element of surprise. Most little girls love mermaids so these color-changing miniatures are a great gift

Watching to see which mermaid appear was just part of the fun. My daughter played with the mermaid for hours in and out of the bathtub.
I bought this while traveling and my daughter just loved it! I did have some trouble finding it when I got home. I am so glad to have the web site!This occupies her time in the bathtub and then all of her "girls" or mermaids play even longer than I had ever thought possible.

We recently had the privilege of playing with these fizzy & fun toys from Wild Planet. We knew that these toys would be a wee bit messy, so we took this adventure outdoors on the patio. With bowls filled with warm water... the fun began!
Gift ideas: These would make great stocking stuffers, birthday bag items, or a great little reward!
And for you teachers & physical therapists... these are GREAT for tactile senses!!!
Even the adults had a little fun...

Both my seven year old daughter and I were excited to receive or order so quickly. Seriously it was within two days! I was really happy to notice that although we purchased three refill shell memrmaids, none of them were the same. She is hoping to get the entire collection and she will if she keeps her room clean :). It is a nice reward for her to work for.

My two granddaughters (ages 3 and 5) are into all things mermaid related, so this toy really fit the bill. We used them as favors for my granddaughter's birthday party. They were a big hit.

My girls love the surprise aspect of these toys - the mermaids are hidden within a shell that fizzes away in warm water to reveal one of 12 different mermaids. They've collected quite a few and play with them all the time.

My daughter is 2 and she absolutely loves these adorable little mermaids. We bought the Pool playset first and she absolutely loved it. She took the shell and tossed it into the bathtub and was completely engulfed in watching it fizzly away to reveal the mermaid. We can't get her to put the mermaid down.
When we found a nice amount of them at the store we scooped them all up and found that she had a complete set after that purchase, with just one duplicate from the pool playset we had bought for her previously.
We look forward to them hopefully making another set of more mermaids for my daughter to watch fizzly in the tub!

My girls love these! They can not get enough. We have 5 of the 12 and plan on collecting them all. My girls also have the pool and love it as well. I would recommend these to anyone.
Wow it's funny we got this for our 2 year old as a stocking stuiffer and we got the DinoMagic for our son...(who's 4 months) and my husband and I are just as excited about seeing what they got as they were. and look forward to collecting them all. We have 7 out of the 12 and getting the same one sucks, but that isn't the point. It's the fun and happness you see in their eyes.
I love these so much. They are very cute. I have 9 but i need 3 more. I have recieved duplicates which is very disapointing but i guess the surprise is the fun part.

My daughter got this mermaid as a special prize for going to the potty. She was so happy to see the mermaid appearing for the first time. Her favorite part is watching the tail magically change colors. She also enjoyed watching the fizzing action of the shell. Her goal now is to collect them all.
So cute. The first time I saw this product there was only one...so I couldn't get one (my daughters are 2 and almost 4 so they have to have ALL the same things) I found a bunch today so we decided to try them. They loved them. My 2 year old had to sleep with her mermaid!

This was the cutest thing. Me and my husband found this and thought it would be cute to just put it in the tub and not tell her what it did. Our daughter (2 years old) LOVES mermaids and when it poped out she was amazed! She has carried it with her since. So funny. Thanks for a great prouduct.

My daughter loves these mermaids! In fact, her best friend asked for some for her birthday so apparently they are a big hit for the 4 - 5 year crowd! I'll probably get more as Christmas stocking stuffers or "Secret Santa" gifts for her friends too! They're fun and cute!
